KYN61-40.5KV removable AC metal-clad switchgear (hereinafter referred to as switchgear) is a high-voltage electrical equipment specially designed for 40.5KV, three-phase, AC 50/60Hz power grids. It is mainly used for power receiving, power distribution, control, monitoring and protection of electrical equipment in power systems, and is widely applicable to general power systems and occasions requiring frequent operation, such as power plants, substations, industrial and mining enterprises, metallurgical plants, chemical plants, commercial buildings and other high-voltage power distribution scenarios. Working Conditions

  • Ambient Temperature: The operating ambient temperature ranges from -25°C to +45°C, with a daily average temperature not exceeding 35°C. Extreme high or low temperatures will affect the performance of internal electrical components (such as circuit breakers and operating mechanisms), leading to reduced efficiency or equipment failure.

  • Altitude: The standard installation altitude is ≤1000m; for special orders, it can reach up to 4500m (special insulation treatment is required). Exceeding the standard altitude will affect the insulation performance of the equipment and increase the risk of electrical breakdown.

  • Relative Humidity: The daily average relative humidity shall not exceed 95%, and the monthly average relative humidity shall not exceed 90%. Excessive humidity will cause moisture condensation inside the switchgear, corrode components and damage insulation performance.

  • Earthquake Intensity: The switchgear can adapt to earthquake intensity ≤8 degrees, with strong anti-seismic performance, ensuring stable operation even in earthquake-prone areas.

  • Modular Assembly & Convenient Maintenance: The switchgear is an integrated assembly unit, and the circuit breaker adopts a floor-mounted handcart design. Equipped with an advanced composite insulation vacuum circuit breaker, it has excellent interchangeability and easy replacement. A lead screw nut propulsion mechanism is installed on the handcart frame, which can effectively prevent misoperation and damage to the propulsion mechanism, and the handcart can be easily removed for maintenance and replacement.

  • Safe & Reliable Operation: All operation steps can be carried out under the closing condition, and there is a mandatory locking mechanism between the main switch, handcart and panel door, which fully meets the five protection requirements (overload protection, short-circuit protection, undervoltage protection, earth fault protection and misoperation protection), effectively avoiding safety accidents caused by misoperation.

  • Large Cable Connection Space: The cable compartment is designed with a large space, which can realize the connection of multiple cables, adapting to the needs of complex power distribution scenarios and reducing the difficulty of cable installation.

  • Multiple Protection Functions: The earthing switch is used for equipment earthing and loop short-circuit protection, which improves the safety of equipment maintenance. Structure Features

  • High-Strength Enclosure: The switchgear is composed of enclosure and handcart. The enclosure is made of galvanized aluminum-zinc steel sheet, processed by CNC machine tool and multi-bending forming, and assembled with bolts.   • Reasonable Compartment Division: The switchgear is divided into relay compartment, handcart compartment and cable compartment.
